Handy Flashlight Privacy Policy

This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) governs your use of the software application Handy Flashlight (“Application”) for mobile devices that was created by Frank Brenyah Apps. The Application is an application to designed to write parts of a song in plain text, record audio associated with the song, and share these song texts with contacts on our device or through other apps on your device. The Application obtains the information you provide when you download and use the Application. The Application requires no additional information once downloaded, it can be used immediately after the first launch of the Application.

The Application may collect certain information automatically, that may include, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Application (“Automatically Collected Information”). The Application may collect precise location data for the purposes of serving more relevant advertisement. This data and it’s collection is also subject to Google Inc. and Alphabet Inc. (“GOOGLE”) AdMob & AdSense policies and GOOGLE Analytics policy, to be known collectively as “Google Policy”.

In addition to Automatically Collected Information, the Application may collect information from other sensors like your Camera. The Application was last updated on November 18, 2015 and is compliant with all aspects of Google Policy and GOOGLE policies regarding use of a mobile devices sensors and hardware at that time. The Application makes no attempt to comply with any changes after that date. By using the Application, you consent fully in all forms to this Privacy Policy.

Automatically Collected Information will be retained for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you’d like to delete Automatically Collected Information that you have provided via the Application, please contact GOOGLE and its affiliates to have this information removed. We may disclose Automatically Collected Information:

  • AS REQUIRED BY LAW, SUCH AS TO COMPLY WITH A SUBPOENA, OR SIMILAR LEGAL PROCESS;
  • WHEN WE BELIEVE IN GOOD FAITH THAT DISCLOSURE IS NECESSARY TO PROTECT OUR RIGHTS, PROTECT YOUR SAFETY OR THE SAFETY OF OTHERS, INVESTIGATE FRAUD, OR RESPOND TO A GOVERNMENT REQUEST;
  • TO ADVERTISERS AND THIRD PARTY ADVERTISING NETWORKS AND ANALYTICS COMPANIES AS DESCRIBED IN THE GOOGLE POLICY

We may work with analytics companies to help us understand how the Application is being used, such as the frequency and duration of usage. We work with advertisers and third party advertising networks, who need to know how you interact with advertising provided in the Application which helps us keep the Application free to download. Advertisers and advertising networks use some of the information collected by the Application, that may include, but is not limited to, the unique identification ID of your mobile device. This information, as guaranteed to us by these third parties, is not uniquely identifiable. This means, the information collected cannot be used, independently, to determine your identity. These third parties may also obtain anonymous information about other applications you’ve downloaded to your mobile device, your non-precise location information, and other non- precise location information in order to help analyze and serve anonymous targeted advertising on the Application and elsewhere. If you would like to option out (“Opt-out”) of having this information collected on your device and/or about you, turn off internet access to the device when using the application, adjust the permissions, or uninstall the Application.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed as acceptance of the entire Privacy Policy and any and all changes.

By using the Application, you are consenting to our processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. “Processing,” means using cookies on a computer/hand held device or using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information, all of which activities will take place in the United States. If you reside outside the United States your information will be transferred, processed and stored there under United States privacy standards.
